Easter eggs
If you name a sheep spawn egg or a name tag to "jeb_" and then use it on a sheep, it will show a spectrum of colors. Jeb is the nickname for Jens Bergensten, a game developer that works for Mojang, mostly known for Minecraft.
Rainbow sheep
If you name a mob spawn egg or a name tag to either "Dinnerbone" or "Grumm" it will turn upside down. Yes, you can still ride your horse upside down, and with commands, you can turn the Wither upside down. Dinnerbone is the nickname for a Mojang worker, Nathan Adams, and Grumm is the nickname for Erik Broes, also a Mojang worker.
Upside down mobs
Halloween
On Halloween, October 31, some things changes. The only splash text is "OOoooOOOoooo! Spooky!". And zombies, skeleton, pigmen, Creepers and wither skeletons may have a pumpkin or a jack o' lantern on their head. If you kill a mob wearing either a pumkin or a jack o' lantern with looting on your weapon, the mob will drop their headwear.
Minceraft
When you log in to Minecraft, there's a 0.01% chance that the title reads "Minceraft" instead of Minecraft. In the beginning of some crash logs it says "You should try our sister game, Minceraft!".
Mojang banner
If you craft a banner together with an enchanted golden apple and any dye, you get the Mojang logo on your banner.
Toast
When Ryan Holtz where creating rabbits, a user named "xyZenTV" asked him to make a rabbit skin that looked like his girlfriend's lost rabbit named "Toast". If you change the name of a name tag or a rabbit spawn egg to "Toast"(With capitals) it will change the skin of the rabbit to the lost rabbit Toast.
The killer bunny
The killer bunny is like a normal rabbit, but it attacks players. The killer bunny deals out 8 hp(4 hearts) of damage. The killer bunny can only be spawned with this command:"/summon Rabbit ~~~ {RabbitType:99}".
